Good books, good movies.

Emang gak pernah bosen ngobrolin tentang buku bagus sama film bagus.

Pembalasan dendam banget setelah berbulan bulan nyentuhnya buku pelajaran doang dan gak bisa nonton film dengan tenang. Jadi gue pengen bahas bahas singkat aja sih berhubung lagi bingung mau ngapain, daripada ngebala terus di group, kasian nanti handphone-nya pada nge-lag (big thanks to my stupid phone).

So, it's one of the Jenny Han's. To All The Boys I've Loved Before. Lagi iseng blogwalking dan nemu rekomendasi dari salah satu post-nya Katina (thank you for the lovely blog, Katina) and got the ebook from her. Lumayan suka cover dan judulnya, jadi tertarik baca hehehe tapi sebenernya yang paling menarik adalah penulisnya. Emang belum pernah baca buku Jenny Han sebelumnya, makanya jadi penasaran. It was composed in first person view and you would see the love life through the view of a quirky girl.
Fun fact : tokoh utamanya, Lara Jean, 16 tahun.

Lagi baik nih, jadi siapapun yang mau coba baca salah satu coretannya Jenny Han dan males nyari ke toko buku, gue punya free ebook buat kalian (however Katina gave me for free yeah). Drop me an email (nasya05@yahoo.com), siapapun yang tertarik, bisa tulis alamat blog kalian juga, in case gue bete dan pengen baca baca blog orang haha. Nothing beats all the feeling you get from reading the real book flipping the paper one by one but hey, it's free.

Buku selanjutnya Satu Keping. Wih, apa tuh? Hehe the only reason gue mau punya buku ini adalah...........Sri Izzati. Lagi lagi karena penulisnya haha. Penulis favorit gue sejak kecil ini akhirnya merilis buku terbarunya awal Maret 2014 kemarin. Buku ini, cerita tentang patah hati, dan sukses bikin gue baper sekaligus membakar rasa kangen gue terhadap teteh yang satu ini. Pokoknya dikemas teramat apik plus puisi-puisi yang tek jleb duar.

Duh teteh Izzi yang cantik dan baik hati, bukumu memang the perfect dose of medicine of which I was desperately in need.

Buku selanjutnya, Bumi. Karya Bang Tere Liye ini belum selesai gue baca jadi yaaaaaaaaa gak bisa ngomong banyak huehehehe. Sejauh yang gue tau, buku berbau fantasi ini (cielah berbau) bakal punya beberapa seri. Gue selalu punya ketertarikan sendiri sama buku-buku berseri, seneng nunggu buku lanjutannya, seneng kalo nanti jadi buku-buku yang recommended dan gue punya semua serinya hahahaha jadi ya silakan diburu ;)

Yang ini bukan buku, bukan. The Shawshank Redemption. Salah satu film lama yang sialnya baru gue tonton baru-baru ini. Dapet rekomendasi (lagi) dari salah satu temen, seinget gue film-film yang dia kasih isinya tentang war dan Mission Impossible 1, 2, 3 yang bisa lo tonton di Tr*ns TV. Berhubung cuma film ini yang bukan war, jadi tergeraklah hati gue nonton ini and no regrets, bagus, two thumbs up!

I still have a long list that I've yet to be started, tapi buat yang punya rekomendasi lagi dan berbaik hati memberikan rezekinya ke gue (halah), silakan aja.

The stars they've been talking about asked me for help.

The premiere of The Fault In Our Stars movie caused quite a stir in the city and I bounced off the walls for some times but finally I watched it, people.
To be honest, I didn't really read the book. You failed this time Mr. Green. But I didn't know for sure why I could be so excited for the movie I just couldn't get it. And what happened to all the sanctimonious people who said that they were not excited about the movie, keep saying the movie like it's such a debacle to all the readers and being too sceptic because they loved the book. Those are just opinions so am I.  I don't really like a typical romance story, but to me this movie (and the book too actually) was great so that I got ants in my pants and I thought it was worth my wait. So, I recommend you guys to watch it no matter what happened.

But except watching some movies, here I am enjoying the holiday by doing nothing and I still don't have any photoshoot or whatever it is. I actually didn't have any idea for the theme. But I jumped for joy when my cousins invited me to their movie project and I said yes with no doubt.

Well, The Ramadhan has just arrived. The holy month atmosphere is now overshadowing. Marhaban yaa Ramadhan.

So, you're gonna see me can't stop smiling after one painful week.  After having my last final exam and a meeting for an hour, I watched Maleficent (currently missing the smell of popcorn and whatever smell it is while entering the cinema, considering how long I dont step my feet on it but yeah).

They put the "Once Upon A Dream" song for the credits soundtrack, succesfully made me histerical, someone smeared a power glue on my seat.

Divergent vs The Fault In Our Stars

So, I once didn't know what Divergent book is about, but then the movie appeared.  All thanks should be sent to Dita, who succesfully forcing me to watch it because I was distracted between Captain America and Divergent (I still have not watch Captain America yet, thiz iz zo zad). I like the movie so much, but The Hunger Games Trilogy still takes the first place in my heart, oh the real nasya is now back. Maybe because Shailene Woodley, the way she represented Beatrice so well, or Theo James, the way he made me hysterical everytime he showed up in the movie (you can start counting now).

I watched the trailer of The Fault In Our Stars before watching Divergent movie.  And I realized with all the tardiness I had, that Beatrice Prior is Hazel Grace and Caleb Prior is Augustus Waters.  I was like, shit just got real, so what relation that Divergent and TFIOS have?  And remember Miles Teller as Peter? He was Sutter Keely in The Spectacular Now Movie who played as Shailene Woodley's mate there.  I'm like excited but feel so weird and awkward in another way. I have to stop this omgomgomgomg.

I also thought isn't that awkward to be Shailene Woodley? I mean in Divergent, Ansel Elgort is her brother, but in TFIOS he is her boyfriend? And Miles Teller? HAHAHAHAHA pardon my random thought.  But I respect Shailene Woodley because she got the main part in two huge book adaptions that have an adjacent release time. Have a nice day.

Everybody's (not) fine.

I was in a boring time and had nothing to do when finally someone suggested a really great movie to watch. Everybody's fine.

The movie directed by Kirk Jones and starred by Robert de Niro, Kate Beckinsale, Sam Rockwell, and Drew Barrymore. Soooo the story started when an old man preparing stuffs to welcome his already-grown-up children, but it turned out his children canceled their visiting.  He felt so lonely that he thought, if they couldn't so he could.  So, he started to do a road trip to visit his children one by one and I still didn't know the end bc...........im gonna tell you after this. Dan ternyata film ini tuh film remake dari film Italia judulnya Stanno Tutti Benne (They’re All Fine) karya sutradara Giuseppe Tornatore. Geez, gue gak bisa ngebandingin sama film orisinilnya, gue belom nonton, bahkan remake-nya aja gak sampe selesaaaai-_-

Btw begitu gue tonton, filmnya sediiiiihhh, bisa jadi gara-gara sugesti dari Acit, sih, tapi emang sedih.  Lagi asik nonton bareng Fika, Nidya, Siti, sama Agni, hampir pada mau nangis gitu, udah pada berkaca-kaca, eh tiba-tiba laptopnya Acit lowbatt, nyari charger di tasnya gaada, yaudah pasrah lanjutin nonton aja pokoknya.
Pas scene seru, bener-bener seru banget, lebih seru dari nenek-nenek nendang bola, tiba-tiba laptopnya mati.  Gue, Fika, sama Nidya nyoba buat maksa laptop Acit bangkit dari kubur nyala lagi, tapi tetep aja ujung-ujungnya mati dan filmnya belom selesai. Yaudah mau gimana lagi, sabar aja.

Terus pulangnya gue sama Fika nemenin Yandi dulu ngerjain soal seleksi tim OSK, terus cerita-cerita gajelas banget sambil ngakak-ngakak and yes being the weird ones in a crowd. Udah putus urat malu, sih, emang susah gitu yaudah.

Dan intinya hari ini yaudah gitu, sih, yaudah aja HEHEHE.
